Tekina Piutau

Tekina is a pianist and collaborative musician in the Bay Area. With a deeply rooted passion for music, she currently serves as the accompanist for Diablo Choral Artists as well as the Acalanes High School choir where she is on her second year as accompanist. She studies piano under Joan Cifarelli, whose mentorship has opened doors for other musical opportunities like working in community theater pit orchestras including Cabaret, Chicago, Young Frankenstein, Spongebob the Musical, and Spring Awakening in which she served as musical director. She looks forward to continuing her musical journey at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSU Long Beach as a Piano Performance major this coming fall.
